The sourdough isn't sour. It's very sweet and very tender - best pancakes on the planet. The yeast eats the gluten in the flour as it works, and softens the flour. The bread pudding won't carry any sourness.
 
I am gonna have to stop reading this forum! I just finished dinner a little while ago. Now, seeing these excellent examples of tastey treats, I am hungry again! I am blaming both of you for any weight I gain! ;)
