Don't call me buddy pal , You made a whole lot of very broad generalizations which are acknowledged to be half truths concerning known historical facts and timelines. Both of Speer's memoirs Inside the Third Reich and Spandau Diaries are known to be incredibly selective in how he portrayed and described events because he was trying to make himself look better. Any good historian worth his salt doesn't work from single source materials and to that end there is an incredible amount of documentation about what actually happened, by who and when concerning Germany in WWII.
I am not saying all of what Speer wrote is wrong but both his books were written to shine a kinder light on him . He omitted a lot details and was busy blame shifting so much its hard to give a huge amount of credibility to his work.
As for your Paul TIbbets signed photo he used to sign those at gun shows , so there is that .
