I'm sure one of our guru's out there can answer this.
Is the accy draw only on 1 battery? I'm trying to figure if that's the case or I might have a dud battery... or not.
Scenario: I replaced both batteries back in May. Same brand, capacity and birthdate (fresh 04/23's). I haven't really been driving that truck at all though. I throw the charger on them every so often though and noticed the passenger battery (primary?) seems to keep a pretty good state of charge. It'll accept about 5amps max and tops off within an hour or two. The driver side.... it'll soak up a good 10amps and the charging cycle requires several hours to complete. Obviously, a much lower state of charge than the passenger battery.
Hence, the question. Is it the accy parasitic draw pulling down just that one battery (which would seem to make sense) or might that indicate a bad battery?
TIA
