Hating to let this one go because it was such a great find, but life's got other plans.
Up for sale is my Dan Wesson model 44 in 44 Magnum.
This is a gorgeous revolver and a beast, with an 8" ribbed barrel. Not a lot of wear at all, especially for a handgun made in the 1980s.
The bluing on these is spectacular and this one has held up quite well - must see to appreciate, pics don't do it justice!
Comes with a near-new Pachmyr grip as well as the original wood grips, an upgraded fiber-optic front sight, a soft carry case (barely fits thanks to the length), and a barrel wrench in case you acquire smaller barrel lengths and want to change out the big 8" for something else.
I'm asking $1200 for this beautiful revolver and it's worth every penny - this isn't some old pitted out and abused revolver, it's in very good condition with only a few smudges on the bluing and no pitting/rust to speak of. Barrel looks great.
It's been well-cared for and needs a new home now.
Cash is king, but I am considering limited trades on this one: good quality lever guns in .357 Magnum and 45-70, in good condition, will be given preference. Trade value will be $1300
Here it is, above its little brother (Wesson .357 Magnum), with a .357 cartridge for reference.
