Considering the Burris MTAC/SkullTac 1-4x24

Ah, gotcha. Then you got a lot of choices then. Personally I like FFP scopes, but I actually range my targets so there's that. Look through a lot of scopes. If you can afford a 1k scope don't go cheaper. Its not often you get 1k glass at a price lower than 1k.
