CMP Advanced Maintenance Class

Did anyone else get in to one of the classes for 2015? They had a lottery-style drawing and have already sent out the e-mails, you go down to Alabama and spend three days in their shop building your own Special Grade M1 Garand. The gun is $995, the tuition is $805 for $1,800 total, not including travel, room and board. Kind of expensive, but you end up with a Garand that's just what you want.

You have a year before they open up the lottery for 2016!

reminds me of the program that GM had where you could go to the factory and help build the LS9 engine that was going in your ZR1

Got the paperwork today, looks like I have to pay the $805 tuition by the end of January. But... there were guns and ammo I was gonna buy in January.
