In the 80's and early 90's the Democrats were focused on banning handguns, then switched to "assault weapons" in the mid 90's 1994-2004 ban. They'll ban anything and everything they possibly can, except for their own security details.

Might just be time to roll north and "Take" Canada from the Crown! Right after we get done here cleaning house, I say we roll north! Canada's Gov. is flat scared of it's citizens, they know they don't have the police or Military to fight off their own people, so they go all in on bans and other nasty not nice things NOW, before the people realize they have the ultimate power! Pretty much the same thing here, sooner or later, we here in America will realize it's WE who hold the power, it's why the hard push against our rights, they know we will figure it out sooner or later and they want to be ahead of the curve when it does finally pop off!

Canadian Gun Stores Report Panic Buying Following Trudeau's Plan To Ban Handgun Sales

"Several gun stores in British Columbia province saw lines out the door within hours of the liberal leader's declaration on Monday. Other shops across Canada said they sold out within days."

They got what they voted in ...

""This handgun measure is going to take away livelihoods and break up communities," he said."

$1337 Loonies EH!
So, with the prices In Canada that's like what?... :s0092:

My take on it is that they pay accordingly. You unlikely to get more than you paid for it.
That was the impression I got too. 2020 pricing sliding scale "in class", which you know is highly likely the deaIers pricing and in no way reflective of what an end user actually paid... even in 2020. Ie., DD AR-15 for $1,337.... eat my shorts!

You have to wonder how successful it will be though. As a for example... Australia is officially "gun free" and had mandatory surrender, but "unofficially", estimates range in the 60%-70% of previously "banned" firearms still remain in their owners hands and... those are only the firearms that were known and registered.

My take.... good luck with that, eh!

Mandatory buybacks aka gun confiscation with a paper bag over its head. What a screw for the Canadian citizens.
They have the luxury of living perpetually under the U.S. protection bubble. What do they need guns or a defense budget for?? 🤣

They can Kumbaya to their hearts content without a care in the world.
