What style are the M4 handguards? Are they the newer fat ones?

I believe they have a slight taper, but when I get home I will confirm the style.

I guess the giveaway would be the shielding, with the older ones it only has one layer of shielding. I believe and the M4's have two. I'm actually looking for the older CAR version.
