have lots of downed deciduous trees up here on the North ForkNo issues here at the present. Have a standby generator with a topped off tank, as well as a woodstove currently supplying heat in case it does.
Hope everyone stays safe and warm during this time of year.
my daughter lives in the Ladd addition in PortlandMy wife said the power flickered a few times today, but I didn't notice anything. If we lose power we just move out to the motorhome and I'll string extension cords from it to the fridge and freezer. We've done that a few times, living in The Bus (as we call it) at one time for nine days while we didn't have power. If it wasn't for that, a little Honda generator would be struggling to keep up and we would be in a cold house.
I live in a manufactured home, but my walls are 6" thick with R21 insulationHaven't lost power but the electric furnace that is only eight years old Doesn't like these temps and decided to take a dump during the night and won't run on emergency heat setting.
Keeping the house close to 60° with gas fireplace heat.
Will someone please call my wife and tell her she's lucky to have a house that is almost 60°…………

And that's when the power went out... This was obviously at 6:31 this morning. About 7:00 AM we lost power and internet and just got it back. We've got an automatic generator, but at -36 it drained the battery before it did it's automatic start thing. I had to pull one of the...www.northwestfirearms.com
