Parker Brothers, breech load, side by side, 20 gauge shotgun.
manufactured in 1921
S/N 193785
Appears to have low round count
Metal is in good shape, no rust that I can see, bluing appears to be good.
Wood has minor signs of use but no real signs of damage, finish is in really good shape
Action is amazingly smooth and tight, no play in any of the controls, you can really tell that this is a craftsmen built shotgun.
I inherited this shotgun from my grandfather's estate, I know that Parker Bros. made excellent shotguns from the 1860's until about the beginning of WW2. I know these things are highly collectible and potentially very valuable to the right person. I am not that person, I have neither the space for nor the inclination to keep a gun that I can't regularly use. My loss, your gain I suppose. Pricing is based on what I've seen models in similar condition going for.
Will consider partial trade for Glock 17, 19, 26, or model 45. I don't want your clap-trap budget AR build or Keltec carbine, thanks.
