steyr m95
The Mannlicher M1895 (German: Infanterie Repetier-Gewehr M.95, Hungarian: Gyalogsági Ismétlő Puska M95; "Infantry Repeating-Rifle M95") is a straight pull bolt-action rifle, designed by Ferdinand Ritter von Mannlicher that used a refined version of his revolutionary straight-pull action bolt, much like the Mannlicher M1890 carbine. It was nicknamed the Ruck-Zuck-[Gewehr] by Austrian troops (ruck-zuck spoken as "roock-tsoock", in common language meaning "back and forth [rifle]") and "Ta-Pum" by Italian troops who wrote a song (it) about it during World War I. The primary producers were the OEWG in Steyr, and FÉG in Budapest.
Originally they were chambered for the round-nosed 8×50mmR cartridge, but almost all were rechambered to accept the more powerful spitzer 8×56mmR cartridge in the 1930s.
In good shape for it's age, in the white. Missing a screw in the middle band.
Bore isnt great, makes for a good project/parts gun, living history item, or collector item.
I'm in need of parts for a Steyr M95 rifle.
Looking for bolt and magazine area parts plus others
would consider a complete parts rifle

Here is a handy little steyr carbine in 8x56r. Made in 1903 it has a Bulgarian crest so it served with them at some point. Comes with original leather sling. Would love a AR in trade but a AR upper would also be considered. I also love lever action rifles or single action revolvers, basically...

I have for sale a Steyr M95 carbine made in 1915 and rechambered after WW1 for 8x56R Mannlicher. Numbers are matching but I believe the stock and bolt were force-matched after the war, probably sometime in the 30s when these rifles re-entered Austrian service. The bore is in excellent condition...
