remington 597
The Remington Model 597 is an American semi-automatic rifle that was manufactured by Remington Arms at the company's Mayfield, Kentucky and Huntsville, Alabama plant. The .22 Long Rifle version has a removable 10-round magazine, while the magazines for the larger .22 WMR and .17 HMR cartridges hold 8 rounds.
The .22 LR and .22 WMR versions began production in 1997, and the .17 HMR version in 2002. Remington announced that the 597 had been discontinued in 2019.
Alright, I know that there has got to be someone out there that bought a Remington 597 HB (heavy barrel) rifle then upgraded the stock. Hopefully you kept the stock and "put it some place safe" (in the back of your pile of parts). Now, with this posting it'll shake the cobwebs loose and you'll...
Selling a good condition Remington 597. Bought it from a pawn shop and have had little problem with it. Asking $125 OBO or trade for something interesting. Feel free to PM with offers. Live in Beaverton but willing to meet halfway if you're not close. Buyer pays FFL fees.
Remington 597 TVP in 22LR. Heavy straight 20" barrel, Remington branded Boyd's Evolution stock. Installed are an EGW 0 MOA top rail and a front Magpul accessory rail that was profiled to the stock. This gun is in awesome shape, clean, and smooth. Reliably shoots ragged holes with good ammo (Eley...
I have a very clean Remington 597 semi-auto .22. Works perfectly, and hasn't had a whole lot of rounds through it. I am just not a semi-auto fan. If you have a decent bolt, lever, or pump action .22, I would consider a trade. Ideally, would love to get a Henry classic lever .22.
well i need to use only Winchester ammo next time out seems to feed best did buy another scope online but i think a little more shimming and it will be there set for 300 yards
Stock was mounted on the rifle for a few years before I started building AR's. There are some minor scuffs on the side, but otherwise in good shape. All hardware is included. Asking $100 OBO.
