property
Property in the abstract is what belongs to or with something, whether as an attribute or as a component of said thing. In the context of this article, it is one or more components (rather than attributes), whether physical or incorporeal, of a person's estate; or so belonging to, as in being owned by, a person or jointly a group of people or a legal entity like a corporation or even a society. Depending on the nature of the property, an owner of property has the right to consume, alter, share, redefine, rent, mortgage, pawn, sell, exchange, transfer, give away or destroy it, or to exclude others from doing these things, as well as to perhaps abandon it; whereas regardless of the nature of the property, the owner thereof has the right to properly use it (as a durable, mean or factor, or whatever), or at the very least exclusively keep it.
In economics and political economy, there are three broad forms of property: private property, public property, and collective property (also called cooperative property). Property that jointly belongs to more than one party may be possessed or controlled thereby in very similar or very distinct ways, whether simply or complexly, whether equally or unequally. However, there is an expectation that each party's will (rather discretion) with regard to the property be clearly defined and unconditional, so as to distinguish ownership and easement from rent. The parties might expect their wills to be unanimous, or alternately every given one of them, when no opportunity for or possibility of dispute with any other of them exists, may expect his, her, its or their own will to be sufficient and absolute. The Restatement (First) of Property defines property as anything, tangible or intangible whereby a legal relationship between persons and the state enforces a possessory interest or legal title in that thing. This mediating relationship between individual, property and state is called a property regime. In sociology and anthropology, property is often defined as a relationship between two or more individuals and an object, in which at least one of these individuals holds a bundle of rights over the object. The distinction between "collective property" and "private property" is regarded as a confusion since different individuals often hold differing rights over a single object.Important widely recognized types of property include real property (the combination of land and any improvements to or on the land), personal property (physical possessions belonging to a person), private property (property owned by legal persons, business entities or individual natural persons), public property (state owned or publicly owned and available possessions) and intellectual property (exclusive rights over artistic creations, inventions, etc.), although the last is not always as widely recognized or enforced. An article of property may have physical and incorporeal parts. A title, or a right of ownership, establishes the relation between the property and other persons, assuring the owner the right to dispose of the property as the owner sees fit.
Which one of these heroes are you? What lengths will you go to to defend your neighbor's property? Who will you encourage to come along for your adventures? Asking for me and for friends in Laurelhurst.
Does anyone have land to shoot on 20-30 minutes from the Happy Valley/Damascus area?
I'd pay whatever seemed fair, clean up, and shoot responsibly. DM me if anyone is interested.
Thanks
There's been a rash of catalytic converter thefts in my complex lately. From what I understand though, I can't really protect my property with a gun. I'd have to go confront them and then see a weapon to draw and then defend myself. So I guess I'm supposed to sit inside and call the police while...
Howdy all,
I'm looking to buy an M4A1 SOCOM lower receiver OR rifle that is US Government Property marked like so
My price range will vary depending on if it is in full configuration with barrel, just the complete lower, or the stripped lower.

Wife and I have been feeding this feral/stray cat that we found living next to our front yard and it has become very friendly with us. These days, it will usually sleep at my front door on a pet cushion we provide for it and wait for us to feed it. Its feeding location is on my driveway...

Crime is going up like mad so this question has crossed my mind. What can you do if someone is stealing ur property outside of your home? Lethal force and stuff relating to deadly firearms are fairly clear to me but is anyone familiar with less than lethal laws? I'm thinking some type of 12...

My daughter is staying in a duplex in Idaho while her husband goes to school in Mississippi for the Air Force. They were supposed to be there until March. Well, he flunked out of school so got new orders to McChord AFB.
He is now in quarantine for two weeks at McChord while she is scrambling...
I've been trying to get a grasp of the carry laws, self defense laws, etc. I keep thinking of a scenario that I can't see a solution.
What do you do if someone comes on your property and starts trying to break into your car? You go outside, yell at him, etc. and he ignores you and continues on...
I've had these 3 19 year old room mates renting a house from me since February and it's been a disaster ever since. Holes in walls, carpet trashed, utilities unpaid, neighbors complaining. I've served them with a 10 day notice to comply or vacate, and even that they are fighting. They DID fix...
Last week my poor Honda was stolen for the 3rd - and most probably the last time. 280k miles - leaky rack - impending euthanasia - but still a loyal little car I had grown attached to. :(
So I quickly got on the phone to report her missing. (Last time she 'escaped' she apparently was an...
I know here in Washington 60% of our property taxes go to schools and If they do not go back to school I feel we are owed a good portion of that money back since the money will not be used. What are the thoughts of the other members and how should we go about getting our hard earned money back...
