browning hi power
The Browning Hi Power is a single-action, semi-automatic handgun available in the 9mm and .40 S&W calibers. It was based on a design by American firearms inventor John Browning, and completed by Dieudonné Saive at Fabrique Nationale (FN) of Herstal, Belgium. Browning died in 1926, several years before the design was finalized. The Hi-Power is one of the most widely used military pistols in history, having been used by the armed forces of over 50 countries. After 82 years of continuous production, the Hi-Power was discontinued in 2017 by Browning Arms, but it remained in production in some countries, under license. The Hi Power name alludes to the 13-round magazine capacity, almost twice that of contemporary designs such as the Luger or Colt M1911. The pistol is often referred to as an HP (for "Hi-Power" or "High-Power"), GP (for the French term, "Grande Puissance"), BAP (Browning Automatic Pistol), or BHP (Browning High-Power). The terms P-35 and HP-35 are also used, based on the introduction of the pistol in 1935.
Several sources indicate that the official name was initially "High Power", while it was manufactured in Belgium by Fabrique Nationale prior to the German occupation in World War II. Production of the weapon then moved to a John Inglis and Company plant in Canada; at some date afterwards, the name was changed to "Hi Power". (Some sources indicate that the name change was not until the 1950s.) Production returned to Belgium after the war, in 1944 or 1945. Nonetheless, the term Hi Power has been the most commonly used in articles over the past decades, regardless of the year of manufacture. Versions of the handgun continued to be made at the FN factory in Belgium under Wehrmacht control, with the designation "9mm Pistole 640(b)".

Only Argentina one I have available
The FM M Models, were designed because of an Argentinean Army request of a more modern pistol, as the newest handguns in the Argentinean Armed Forces were the Sistema Colt 1927 and the FM High Power "Rosarina" pistols, from 1927 and 1937.

No longer in production. The Hi-Power is one of John Moses Browning's finest designs. And although it is possible to still find Hi-Power pistols at dealers across the U.S., the Hi-Power is technically out of production. Current dealer inventories will be the...
This Browning is in excellent condition. Manufactured in 2000. Comes with one factory magazine. There is a small blemish on the left side of the slide if the light catches it at the right angle. I did my best to capture it.
Would consider partial trade for a Glock 21

What do you guys think? My Dad is a big fan of the Hi Power and I always kind of ignored them. Then I decided I should have one, just because my Dad enjoys them and I figured it was another thing we could enjoy together.
I wanted a gun I could shoot and carry, so I went with a MkIII vs some...
This is the Mk 3 with the extended ambidextrous safeties. I haven’t shot it much so its time to rehome it. I have had Meprolight tritium night sights installed as well as Crimson Trace Lasergrips. It comes with two 15 round MecGar magazines. It was an excellent carry gun. This is a commercial...
Hi guys, so I'm in the Hillsboro / Forest Grove area and I recently added a Hi Power to my collection. I am in need of a gunsmith who can handle barrel fitting, and trigger and hammer install. I have to send the slide out for milling so I can add new sights, but if they can do that also it'll...
