just wanna confirm that the range is open from sun up to sun down... google is saying it is open 24 hours and ... i would love to run a night time shoot with lights and IR but wanna make sure im not reading that wrong

Rules & Regulations Shooting at live trees is prohibited. Shooting at garbage and glass is prohibited. Target shooting is prohibited between dusk and dawn.

Nope, Google is wrong. Sort of. The forest is open 24 hrs a day, yes, however target shooting is allowed between the hours of:
half hour before sunrise to half hour after sunset.

Site is down until I find a decent host to work with. What I had wouldn't spend time to fix their big issue, but I am not making a lot of progress finding a shop that is returning phone calls.

Does anyone know if Brimstone is still in business? I have been trying to get any info on the status of a trigger I sent to them but get no response. I read elsewhere that they may be out of business.

Has anyone been to snake tooth target area near Brookings,OR. I have a construction job in Brookings I found this area on Google maps. Was just curious of layout if anybody has been there.

He has almost lways been able to beat the prices I have found online especially when you factor in shipping. He also does transfers and will accept firearms from other sources, but I'd check with him first since there is a good chance he can source it quicker and cheaper.

Has anyone else heard that shooting in forest ares has been closed down for fire danger?

ODF installed red gates on most entrances to most parts of Tillamook State Forest at the beginning of Covid (2020). While they have the ability to legally shut down certain activities. Recreational shooting is not one of those. I am still researching the legality of the red gates. I'm not certain they have the law behind them in terms of shutting off the woods via the red gates. Hence why 2022 they were all open during fire season. Off road use and logging can be legally shut down at any time for any reason.

I was up at North Fork at the beginning of the this week. I found a nice headset. Tell me the date, color of the headset and the range you were on. I am not asking for a reward. If you have a twin, bring that to assist in verifying this is yours.

How is the cellular service there me and the wife wanna go shooting while the kids are at school but want to be able to receive call in case of emergencies

Cell service can be spotty at the lanes, there are apps that can track you on your smart phone and place placards where you had last receiver cell service. I have witnessed hot spots run out there though. Best test it out when you know you don't need to worry about a school call. Like summer!

Is Salmonberry Rd. off 26 all closed for shooting or just for the first 2 miles?
