Saw on the news the Guard is digging out the backstops at Camp Withycomb in Clackamas. They've already extracted over 200 TONS of spent small arms projectiles using a gold mining dredge from Alaska. The goal is 300 tons.

I think they were forced to shut it down due to people wanting to develop the land above and behind it on the hill. I went there for years using my connections with the sheriff's office. Now I wished I'd gone there with a bucket and a shovel all these years.

Yup. She said they are cleaning up AMMUNITION and Not to worry, because the Military is doing the work.
