Have had this scope for a while and it's been hunted. Has some dings on it, but glass is great and it's an awesome scope. Rapid z 800 reticle, super bight and crisp glass.

The main marks are on the eyepiece right by the zoom adjustment. I wore a revolver on my belt and when my rifle was slung the scope rubbed on the revolver hammer. It's only cosmetic, the integrity and function of the scope is perfect. Has some other wear marks too, see pics for details. Let me know of any questions. Need cash so no trades please.

how long is the mounting area on the main tube where rings attach thanks

Well I don't have a super exact way of measuring it. But with my tape measure there is about 6" of tube length between the the bell and the eyepiece, including the turrets. There is roughly 2.5" of useable space both on the front and rear between the turrets.
