Has anyone ever mounted a EGW picatinny rail to their Yugo M48. My rifle has a Russian scope and Zrak mounts on it now. I want to have the gunsmith put holes into the rail that match the existing holes in the receiver. Will this work ? Then I can get a different scope set up. I will not change the safety. Don't see it as necessary for a plinker.
