My nieces husband is looking to buy her a bolt action rifle for hunting. She is quite familiar with guns and has been around them her whole life but has a hard time because she has a very small frame. Mostly looking for Remington 700 or a Ruger 77 or compact. Youth or shortened stock would work best, but we could have it customized to fit her. Short action only, 243 would be preferred but open to 7mm-08 257 roberts or anything else with similar recoil.
