So I've been on the mailing list of Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists since a long time (as were my parents and one of grandparents). Now, in the fuuuuture, I receive their missives via the Intratubes. I received a weird message from the aforementioned that referenced a "Doomsday Clock Playlist". This bizarre playlist is located here.

Which brings me to my wacky question: what is your SHTF playlist? Temporary disasters, TEOTWAWKI, or end of days for our species, who knows! Feel free to doom it up.

I'll get this party started:

  1. "Jumpin' Jack Flash", The Rolling Stones
  2. "Corrosion", Ministry
  3. "Grave Wisdom", Skinny Puppy
  4. "Butterfly Wings", Machines of Loving Grace
  5. "Dead End Street", Revolting Cocks
  6. "Beginning of the End", Nine Inch Nails
  7. "Epicentre", VNV Nation
  8. "Nonstop Violence", Apoptygma Berzerk
  9. "Huracán de Flores", Fuel Fandango
  10. "The Fall", Ministry
  11. "Gunman", Funker Vogt
  12. "Inquisition", Skinny Puppy
  13. "Isn't Everyone", HEALTH x NIИ
  14. "Radioactive", Pentatonix
  15. "This Corrosion", The Sisters of Mercy
  16. "VX Gas Attack", Skinny Puppy
  17. "Perfect Tan (Bikini Atoll)", Machines of Loving Grace
  18. "Wasteland", Billy Idol
  19. "Gimme Shelter (Remix)", The Sisters of Mercy
  20. "Blade Runner (End Titles)", Vangelis
What is your playlist? Do share. :s0155:

There is a lot of good selections here, mind you - repeats! I wonder what is says about some of us (me) who listen this on the regular. Personally, I rock and jam to Pantera, Slayer, Megadeth, Throwdown, Marilyn Manson, Bone Thugs N Harmony, Hatebreed, Iced Earth, Nile, and too much more. They are my everyday SHTF music.

Special credence goes to Slayer - South of Heaven, World painted red, and Warzone.
