Anyone have experience with QuikClot?(sp) I've got a couple but havent had the opportunity to get shot yet, so I don't know how well it works.

My SIL used to rep the Syvek products and gave me some samples, but they don't appear to be for major bleeding.

I hang mine on the taget stand. They make good wind flags, but don't work great when it's raining...

I keep two large QuikClot sponges but have not had any big cuts or wounds to put them on. They expire so be sure you get more. I am not sure if they work if you go past the expiration date.

BUT, But, but.....my GF doesn't use a tampon. On the other hand, her "pad" could be used for direct compression.

ya'll weak as fug not using the old school gun powder then igniting it to seal wounds. pffft!!!!

As someone who seriously burned much of my arm accidentally, I don't recommend this at all. Burns are easily infected and there are MUCH better ways to treat wounds. This would be the LAST thing I would try.
