Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
That's how Kentucky felt. When telling people I was from Washington, they always said it's rains too much there.
Well in KY it rained a lot too, but only for about 30-45 mins a day. But it would down pour like I've never seen here.
Just getting out of your car in the rain for 5 mins it felt like someone dumped a 5 gal bucket on you. Then it would clear up and be hot as a sauna and humid a heck.
OK, Battle Hardened Vietnam Vets... Care to share your favorite Monsoon Stories????
Mine was at CuChi: It was DRY Hard Dry Dirt. The Monsoon hit... In Five Minutes, a Five Hundred foot long Ditch six feet wide three foot deep.... Was Over Flowing, and you could barely see the tops of the "Wooden Sidewalks" .... That is RAIN.
Central America.... The rain often came in weird narrow "bands". Half-step to one side you were standing in a deluge of biblical proportions, half-step the opposite way you were in sunny and warm (but humid as hell) weather...
