Since he is asking for dimensions, one can assume he will create one. He should just measure the magazine tube then enlarge that diameter. Find out the inner diameter and decrease that diameter. To find the length, assemble the shotgun without the forend and with simple math you can get the gap of the piston and barrel lug. He just needs to get somewhat close, the original is not even metal.

That piston design definitely looks like it is based on the American pattern Remington 1100 or 1187.
