This is disturbing. But I have to wonder if lyrics to Rap songs are equally scrutinized? I find that bubblegum equally offensive. Where's the outrage against that? I don't listen to single drop of any of it, and mute the TV/radio if any of it comes over the air.

Here's the thing. And I know deep in my heart that it is a "TRUTH". There will always be racists. ALWAYS! I have wondered about myself in the past. Doing what aging/growing I have done in the last 5-10 years I have finally come to the conclusion that I am not racist.

Yes, absolutely. There will always be racist a-holes, just like there will always be criminals. Just like the woods will always attract vermin who trash it, sadly even some gun owners. Just like politicians will always lie. ALWAYS in every case. Which is exactly the reason we, as parents, have the ultimate responsibility to raise our children well, not just for their own good character, but so they will have the intestinal fortitude to always stand up against bad people.

Knowing all that, I'm still shocked to learn about the depths of racism in Portland and its environs. I say that as a Portland native.
