My little company services a handful of commercial real estate firms in the NW. They are not doing great let's just put it that way. Very little happening - 'ghost town' for lack of a better term. The staff would all be working from home if doing so wouldn't project the exact opposite image of what they want to sell. Every time the phone rings they attack it like a starving dog tossed a treat.

It's all part of the plan. No tenants-> no money-> no mortgage or tax payment-> bank takes over-> then walks away-> bank gets bailed out by government-> government get property and we have a Moscow style communism take over with out firing a shot. All in the spirit of urban renewal.

Mike I'm sure you remember "urban renewal" 20 miles north of you in Eugene.

It took 40 years for downtown Eugene to recover from "urban renewal" undertaken in 1973.

I'll skip the ugly details.....

They finally "fixed" it by offering 10 year property tax exemption to any developer who would come in and build apartments in the urban core.....to build on the vacant sites that had been there for 2, 3 or 4 decades.

The property owners who had owned and maintained apartment and commercial buildings in and around the urban core and campus areas got nothing.

For the individuals and families who had owned buildings in the urban core ...."urban renewal" was an economic hatchet job....effectively a taking and redistribution.

Sad, but indeed reflective of a city administration that embraced rioters and in fact stood shoulder to shoulder with them, getting tear gassed with them, just a few short years ago.

If the people of Portland really want change, don't elect another democrat to lead the city. Each one elected, in their turn, has helped in Portland's slide into the abyss…

I'll give them a good talking to.

All of this since late 2019, early 2020 has been highly coordinated from the TOP. The West collapsing over the last five years is no anomaly. When 70% of the populace accepted the C19 fraud as truth via the corp media and gov't as they do all fear narratives, it green lighted the social planners to work against us on all fronts.

Divide and conquer indeed. Fracture friends and family. Stoke racism and hate. Punish victims, reward criminals. War is good, we need to start more of it. All while we add a trillion in debt every 100 days. The 2030 goal post is getting closer and closer.

Yes, well over 100+ years, however they really hit the accelerator over the last five years. They are patient and generational.

Anyone that cannot see that as fact is in cognitive denial. They are winning. No need to wallow in fear or depression over it. But believing somehow it will be 'fixed' is delusional at this point.

Enough Monday happy thoughts! This tax paying wage slave has to get to work .......
