So yeah, AMMO-POCALYPSE.
With the panic buying in March due to the PLANDEMIC, 6 million supposed new gun owners & the transfer of power to a socialist administration....is anyone suprised its this bad?
I'm not. But, I am suprised by the scarcity. Even with the above issues, Bi-Mart seemed to continue to have stock every Friday at a reasonable price. Limiting 2 boxes per caliber per person. But a funny thing happend 2 weeks ago at my local store. No ammo stock. Then this week, I stopped by the store at 915 on Friday. 15 min after they opened. A sign on the door said limit one box per person. I make my way to sporting goods....and ITS ALL GONE!
The sign outside said stoked with 9mm/45apc/22lr/7mm/12guage.
So you mean to tell me in 15min all that was gone with a 1 box min?
To me this seems like this is gonna get way worse. I refuse to buy online with the forced shipping insurance and inflated prices.

These days it comes down to buy it where you see it if the price is good for you. Don't worry, it's just going to get worse.

If I was the guy responsible at Bi-Mart....I wouldn't be so predictable with my stocking procedures.

Same for Wal Mart, Sportsmans and Fisherman's etc....

Why?

I'd want the shoppers coming in on a daily basis. Maybe, at some point.....they'll actually buy something that they don't really need. More sales = more profits for the store.

Aloha, Mark

It's the run on reloading and the gouging on components that startles me. I've seen around $200 a pound of titegroup. Are you bubblegumting me?!?! That's a $19/on powder at the expensive store local to me!!! Same for primers. I grimace when I have to pay $34/1000 locally at the expensive store and get people are flipping their old $20/1000 or cheaper primers for up to $200/1000!!! It's insane! Now it's starting to get to trades only, not selling. Local guys to me are putting random garbage ammo into auctions and getting $1000+ per auction on literally baggies of random crap!

Some days the trucks are late, some days the employees are slow to put it out, and yes some days they dont get much and 50 people waiting buy what is available. limits are done to be fair to everyone.

Im glad you dont control any ammo counter, thats Shatty logic.

We're all going through the same thing so let's complain that's the sky is blue or not blue enough. You, me and everyone else had years, literally years, of "good times" to prepare

I'll be leaving Washington, headed to Boise ID. When I get there in April I won't be whining about the lack of ammo either. If you failed to buy in the times of plenty then piss and moan when times are tough I have zero sympathy for you.

I sold someone 500 rounds of AK food today for 200 bucks and still didn't dent my stash.
There are some calibers that I need but can't find.
It's either a good time to consolidate your calibers, or diversify them.
Also may consider just going ahead and buy online if you can.
One thing I can say about my short foray into AmCon, is that no one was on there complaining about lack of ammo, probably either because it would go against the whole punisher skull persona of that deal, or that even it's participants know that they aren't really on there to help each other.

There is an 'underground' group on this site that still buys and sells at non-panic pricing.

I'm prepared. I have stock. Apparently you didn't get the sarcasm in the title of the thread. I'm not crying. Just stating it's getting worse.

Wow! Did you not get the point of the sarcasm? Just stating the fact it's getting worse. I am more than prepared.
