Which I never understood as the .40 SIGs I have and shoot have only slightly more recoil than a 9mm in the same make/model gun, and that is with LE ammo.

Pinky extensions are undesirable for many. Might as well have just gotten a bigger gun.

Not always the case of "just get a bigger gun".

I have a Sig 365. I carry in different ways depending on where I'm going or what I'm doing. Most of the time I use the 12rd mag, which has the grip extension.

But sometimes, such as in an ankle holster, I prefer the smaller 10 round mag.

And I always carry a spare 15 round mag.

I used to do the same with my G30s. I kept one magazine with the flush baseplate while the others had extensions. Makes for a more versatile carry gun depending on what you need.

I can make a smaller grip bigger, but I haven't found a way to make a bigger grip smaller.

I like and own both. The .40 is more lethal, but you can fit more 9mm ammo in the same space.
