Thinking about getting an RT1200 for my XL650. I have done a lot of reading about how to set up the brass prep toolhead. This will be for .223. Since I already have a carbide sizing die, I am leaning towards doing sizing and decapping in station 1, then trimming in station 4. I would leave the trim die backed out so that the shoulder is not sized. Does this leave enough friction on the case to trim without the case spinning?

I decap and size on my 550 and run the trimmer on a Rock Chucker. I have Dillon dies on both so I set them up the same. Works fine for me and the 1200 makes trimming brass fast and easy. I don't think I've ever had a case spin, they trim as fast as you pull the handle.
