A buddy of mine has a Glock 21 with a grip reduction. I was wondering does anyone know if you can do that to a XD. If so who might I send it to?

Forgive me, but what is a 'grip reduction'? I know what a 'grip' is, and I know what 'reduction' means, but how do you reduce the size of the Glock 21 grip?

you can sand and melt down the grip and fill it in with plastic using a plastic welder or resin

Can't speak of the XD...a few years ago Robar fully reduced one of the Academy's GLOCKs for T&E and for students to try.

For those with smaller hands it definately makes a difference. It allows a person to at least reach the trigger with the center of the fingerprint pad without compromising one's Master Grip on the gun. Also several students were literally wearing off skin on their thumb knuckle because they had to cant or compromise their Master Grip in order to reach the trigger. I do know several, after trying the reduced GLOCK, said "I wasn't going to spend the money to have this done to my GLOCK but now after trying it I definately sending mine in."
