Well, I think Stoner would have moved past his AR design long ago, and he would have gone on the design and perfect several other systems that may or may not have been better! We will never know, but his legacy lives on!

I gotta agree with small arms solutions, stoner loved his 7.62 rifles..
that being said its a cool concept. It would be interesting to see a monolithic polymer upper with a sheet steel or 7075 inner tube in mlok
