I have a WWI US Model of 1917 Remington 30-06 rifle with sling and cleaning kit (in butt stock). This was recovered from a water tight container that we retrieved from a sunken navel vessel. As to what I was told 10 ten years ago when I got this rifle. Everything is original and shoots great.

Asking $500 obo FTF in Wilsonville. Will consider trades (rifles or handguns).

It does have a "E" stamped on the lip to the right of the date, close to the wood. You can see it if you click on the second photo.
