Looks to be a couple of seriously epic historical WW2 stories being brought to life through the big screen! The Hurricane fighter plane and the Typhoons, and possabley the Mosquitos, SHOULD be stunning visually, and i hope they tell those stories well! Especially the Typhoons story, man, talk about brave men doing an extraordinary risky job!
It would also be super cool to see a story on the Beufighter and the crazy stuff those pilots did!

One of our house masters at school was a Typhoon pilot. He was badly shot up after attacking a train with rather too much by way of defence, and with his aircraft smoking like crazy and his parachute [he was sitting on it] 'slightly on fire' as he noted, he had to make as good a landing as he could. Knowing that ditching into water was going to kill him instantly - that HUGE intake guaranteed a nose-over flip - he elected to crash-land on a beach instead. He was doing just fine until the nose finally dug in, and he was thrown out of the cockpit, ending up in large tree. He then noticed that he seemed to have left his lower legs behind on the cockpit coaming.

I agree that all of the airplanes you've selected are worthy of a movie, or ten. The Japanese called the Beaufighter 'Whispering death', and the German Navy just hated the things. Carrying eight 60 pound rockets as well as four 20mm cannons, it had a wallop equal to the broadside of a five-inch gunned light cruiser.
