I'm a tard with a bunch of 50's , I love warbird's and history.
We donate time, effort, ammo and use of our gun's to help keep history alive.

After alot of Bs'ing and maybe a drink or two (after hours) I have everyone on board for this.
We are starting out with the Ball turret's at the Big Sandy MG Shoot.( Live Fire ONLY)

We need everyone that can come down to the next big sandy shoot to show up and support these guy's.

Yes that mean's bring money and shoot 50's out of the turret's..........:)

It's a NON Profit living history museum that cost $5,000 an hour in fuel to keep these girls in the air so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ma Deuce porn...brings a tear to my eye. M2's were my pride and joy back in the day. I still have a firing pin in my tool box.

My cousin was a gunner on a navy Liberator flying over the South Pacific. Won an air medal for sinking a Jap tanker and another vessel and damaging shore installations on Truk harbor "in the face of heavy and intense enemy fire." Had Two turrets shot off of him during the course of the war. I still have the newspaper clippings. I witnessed the wreck that was his life until the day he died. I would love to touch off one of those deuces, but no thanks on crawling into a turret for it. How did you spend your 19th birthday?

Just plane AWESOME! Every now and again have a B-17 out of Kissimmee flying around the lake, lots of folks stop what they're doing and look up in awe! Wonderful site, wonderful noise from those radial engines, just plane AWESOME all the way around!

Getting some trigger time in a ball turret...FABULOUS!!!:D:cool::D

I love the old WWII planes - fighters, bombers, transports - all of it. I would love to go up in a B-17 and do some live fire some day. No way I'm getting in the ball turret though - don't those guys have to be under like 5'4" and like 120lbs? No chance I, at 6'1" and .....lbs is squeezing into one of those. Waist gunner, yeah, I'd love to give that a shot. Maybe someday if a buttload of extra $$ comes my way...
