I don't know if the AK mags have gens... I know they have an MOE and a PMAG version. These are the PMAG version with steel reinforcement. Hope that answers your question.

magpul has two versions of ak 47 mags, moe, which are plastic, cheaper price, and M3 which are metal reinforced with the metal magazine catch. they are more expensive .
