WTS: Mosin 38 in Very Good Condition. 1943 made with nice bore, not counter-bored.
Unfired by me since aquired about 10 years ago.
Also included in 1 un-opened tin with 300rnds of Bulgy Heavy Ball ammo.
$219.00 ftf in Bellingham area. I'll go as far south as Kesselrings.

Looks like it's in a war-time M44 stock, is that correct? Also; could you snap a pic of the receiver markings? I can't see clearly where it was made.

It's an Izhevsk made rifle with the arrow in a triangle marking, with a date of 1943 on the reciever below a small Hammer and Sickle mark.

The Serial Number is the same on the Reciever, Buttplate and Stock with the Bolt's number electro-penciled.

It's hard to photograph as the arsenal reblue is very thick/dark.

It has the wartime stock with 3 repaired areas.

It's still got the cosmoline on it as I haven't cleaned it since I got it. (2001)

Bore is nice and the rifle has not been counterbored like many 1938's.
