Are you looking to be able to convert from .40 or .357 to 9mm?

If so, all you have to do is buy a conversion barrel. You don't need the slide too.

Yes. With a .40 slide, you can get a 9mm conversion barrel that will work with the .40 slide. BarSto, EFK - maybe others.

For this conversion from your 40 S&W firearm you will need a 9mm magazine and depending on ammo you may need a lighter recoil spring. We can supply both if needed.

Make sure you get the conversion barrel, not the OEM 9mm barrel.

You will also need the 9mm recoil spring and the 9mm mag (the .40 mags work, but might not work reliably). The sights on the slide might be different though; SIG Sauer Sight Heights and Sight Numbers - Real Gun Reviews

For a P229 it gets a bit more complicated (depending on which 229 it is), but for the 226 it is easy-peasy.

Did a bit of research. Even though the conversion barrel and spring would work but I would rather just get the exchange kit so that the sites don't need to be changed.
