Looking for a Marlin "shorty" to round out my modest assortment. The 336LTS is a rather rare 16-1/4" 30-30 Trapper, with only 2,671 manufactured c. 1988-89. Just saw one NIB sell on Gunbroker for $1,400.00! I was hoping to find a clean shooter for a bit less, obviously. This is not a "must have" for me, but I would be willing to travel and pay up for a nice example. Something around $600-800 would be realistic for me. I would also be happy with a 336 Texan. These are straight stock, 18-1/2" barreled carbines, made from about 1980 to 1987. Have seen these for around $400-600. What have you got? Can pay in "real money" (gold/silver) if you like that kind of thing. Thanks, Matt
