Hi, I have put the word out to a few friends who are keeping an eye open for me, and am looking for an M1 carbine that would have at least a receiver/action from wartime production of decent quality, and which is in good shooting condition. It's for my teenage son. He's ready for something more than a .22 and really likes the feel of them...

Thanks,

Rob

Are you looking for something to restore or just to shoot? I have this Inland that I started gathering original correct parts for. I gave up when it got too spendy. Still a nice reliable shooter though. So far I put a flat bolt back in, 4 rivet thin stock and handguard but the flip rear sight and barrel band are aftermarket.
