I need a new handgun for an armed security position. Unfortunately I'm tight on money and am only looking to spend $300-$400. I already have a revolver, but I'm looking for a solid double action. I'm not picky as long as it's not a little stripper pistol haha.

Check out CDDN sports and AIM Surplus. You can get new Canik or Tisa CZ/walther clones, a new walther PPX or a police trade in Glock 19/17 and have them shipped to your FFL for under $400
