To me it's pretty easy to understand and frankly to be expected. Women are highly driven by a need for security. With crime in major cities getting out of control, reduced police forces so as not to upset the criminals, half the male population more interested in makeup than they are, well, the math is pretty easy.

In the past, the ladies would look at me like I was a creep whenever I offered to let them play with my gun, call me a liar when I wanted to show them my 16" barrel, or give me looks of pity when I tried to tell them about how great my 2" snubnose is. Come to think of it they still do...

Californians were told it was a Newsome Trump election. I saw several news stories where they kept putting Trump pictures up. That said, these same voters complain about all the issues not including the burning of an entire city people seem to have forgotten about.
