Nothing tagged out this year. Did get out a couple of days visiting my son in Southern Oregon. Otherwise , spent most of this year's hunting season getting my house ready to sell, selling it and moving from WA to Oregon. This one would have been nice if he wasn't on private land. And no, wasn't road hunting. Just saw him on my up to my usual spot.

How did everyone's hunting season go

I worked. I do know quite a few dedicated folks who enjoyed only a big bowl of tag soup though.

I missed out on identifying a spike late one afternoon, but I wouldn't have shot him, anyway.
He was the only antlered deer I saw this year, but I barely spent any time hunting. This just wasn't the year.

Great pheasant season for us. Perfect points and retrieves. First season with 16ga, hand-rolls, and Ithaca 37.
