Would you carry a gun you cannot accurately shoot one handed?

I would give a billion bucks to see someone one hand rack my glock 27 like that you tube video!! With a full mag it takes determination and a strong grip to rack the slide! I can't comprehend wanting to rack the slide before I could be ready to fire! the only time you'll need a gun you'll need it instantly, the BG already has a huge jump on you, why give him more of an advantage?
As for shooting with one hand... Riot is right, 7 feet...
only time i can imagine needing a long shot is someone is on a sucidial rampage, in which case you're dead already, or you got them two hands to take the shot.

I carry an airlite S&W in .38 Special as a back up gun. Yes .38 is not the most respected manstopper but I enjoy shooting it. I am much more skilled in shooting my .38 then those shooting .357 magnum who feel pain with each pull of the trigger. I am not afraid to practice with my back up, and enjoy it.
