It's too late to apply for a spring bear tag in Oregon, so you'll be able to hunt them this August.

All you need to find them is a 50lb bag of cheap dog food, and a gallon of karo syrup - poured on top. :D

Joking of course, baiting is illegal.

Confused here … OP quotes himself and then complains his own post is having fun at his expense???

Anyway, as @wp4 has stated, you can still hunt this fall, you don't have to wait until next year.

I am pretty sure that the folks who have replied are not poking fun at you.
There were some typos "Beer" instead of Bear , being the notable example.

Looks like August is when bear season begins for y'all in Oregon...the same for us here in Washington.

Bear hunting is much like deer or elk in my experience....what are your questions or concerns....?
