Hey Folks,
I have three original WWII items for sale that are really great:
#1: Early to Mid War Firestone stamped USGI Helmet Liner w/Unit and Rank Markings
This is a pretty rare piece that I debated selling. Original WWII liner with tan webbing. The webbing is torn in two spots around the sweatband; common for an 80 year old war relic. These can be fixed or left in original condition. The liner has original Corporal chevrons painted on the front and unit logos on the side. The logos have been worn down from being under the steel helmet. From what I can tell the unit logo is the Eastern Defense Command but more research would need to be done to verify. Logos on any helmet or liner are rare. The words "Build and Defend" are visible on one side. The Firestone logo is visible inside the liner along with some USGI graffiti (what I believe to be the GI's name). Really a unique piece of history. $85 no longer available
#2 WWII USGI leg gaiters
These are in excellent shape. Laces missing on one side but from what I can tell the fabric, eyes, and buckles are in great shape $20
#3 WWII (possibly Korea?) M1 Carbine Magazine pouch
This is in shockingly good condition. Letters all visible. Stitching is tight. Perfect for the carbine lover or collector. SOLD
Meet in Salem or ship on your dime. Purchase all three and we can strike a deal.
