My dear wife has determined that we need to take our first grader who will be seven years old this summer, to the Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle this August. I don't know if it is because she has been watching that damn pregnant giraffe 24/7 or because the Portland zoo has become meh.
It seems that other forums have determined that since the property is owned by the City of Seattle, the State preemption applies to CHL holders. Being the hottest month of the year, the chance of printing or accidental exposure is high, so my question is has anyone dealt with Woodland Park Zoo staff about carry issues lately???
Yes I know that they have a No Weapons sign and the ball fields are of the same status (city owned / private managed), however the stadiums have security with detectors.
