    I feel the same about the old Hoppe's No. 9....
    The newer stuff doesn't smell the same as it did years ago, or perhaps it's just my sniffer...

    If they made Hoppe's No.9 into cologne, I would wear it. But then I would probably have grizzly old hunters following me around instead of the babes. :laugh:

    I love certain gunpowder smells, particularly those old paper roll caps.

    Chee~to, that killed me seeing that picture. It reminded me of those single digit mornings while duck hunting with my son. That smell of gunpowder, ewe ~weeee. Been a few years tho.
