I once met a client at his shop. He had two black eyes, a cut lip and a general appearance of being beaten up. I asked him where he got drunk and got his azz kicked and he told me his separated wife showed up at his door (drunk) and started beating on him to which he put his hands behind his back and took the blows.

Cops showed up, arrested her and it all carried well for him in court as he got custody of the children and essentially prevailed in his divorce.

I walk my dog through a popular park in Hillsboro practically every day, and nobody freaks out when we can't maintain 6 feet for a few brief moment because, wait for it, we are outside! I refuse to wear a mask outside except for situations such as waiting in line to get into home depot, etc.

I have to say I too when I read this wonder if we are getting anything close to the full story here. She says she was outside and he was too close? So move away. I tend to suspect we have another "mask Nazi" who is running around telling all they need to do as she says. This time it did not go well for her. Well said. I don't wish for anyone to be assaulted, but I find it really odd that a certain segment of society somehow feels they can get in anyone's face, screaming and pointing fingers, and assume that it will always end well. Most guys hesitate to get into fights even when we're pretty sure we'll win because we learn at an early age, even when you do win you never get out unscathed. Karen's have never learned this lesson, but I have a feeling they are about to given the societal rage you rightly identify.

Dunno, I'm not totally buying her story. For all we know she could have initiated the confrontation, got in his face, and tried to mace him when he reacted angrily. The world isn't the same anymore - you can't always assume the guy is the aggressor. I'm not advocating for violence against women, but it sure seems like a lot of them these days start something, and then learn the lesson most guys have known since grade school

You'd be utterly blind to not realize this biased judicial statistical probability against men.

I'm sexist according to the new world and I'm ok with that but would not tolerate getting hit on. However because of my size (and partly to my extensive tattooing) I would only use as much force as was needed to stop the attack cuz when they see me at 6'1" and 275 lbs and then a chick on the ground with a shiner I'm guessing I'm spending a night in a cell regardless of being cleared later.

Yep, I support pure, true equality. Sometimes guys lose sight of that fighting battles for ladies that just arent necessary. I had a buddy get nearly churned through Oregons judicial system due to a false allegation. By the grace of god security cam footage proved his innocence. The lady that made the false report?.. not even a slap on the wrist.

Seeing how he was instantly judged by cops, the court..etc and how much true privilege certain "individuals" have over others in our current family court and judicial system really opened my eyes. He's about my size.. and big guys are instantly demonized and judged. If it could happen to him, it can happen to anyone. So this case in particular, Id like to see all the facts.

But Ill make note again, if the dude actually started all this and beat up on someone unprovoked over mere words, he should get charged like hell.
