Have those grips been sanded down, or is that just the photos? The bottom edge appears to have been rounded off.

The stocks are 50 years old and have seen honest wear since this gun was carried on duty and in competition. All my early gun's stocks have no lacquer on them any more and have lost all the sharp edges.
