yesWould serial numbers from both be visible?
AR lower and barreled action from take your pick rifle or shotgun.Which make and model gun are we discussing here?
Both will have to be listed. Same as some AR belt fed uppers and 50BMG uppers.
I thought it was illegal to remove serial numbers? My mind took me to a weld up project, and the thought that you should put your own unique serial on it! DR
Now that would be an interesting transfer in places like WA.AR lower and barreled action from take your pick rifle or shotgun.
My guess is I will tire of my many frankenguns one of these days and try to part with them. If any person decides to gamble and buy one it will probably make for an interesting transfer process. Now that would be an interesting transfer in places like WA.
woah, wait a min... .50bmg AR upper was serialized? That's not a firearm per ATF, why a serial? As a few folks already mentioned yes both SN#s will go on the 4473.
An example is this .50BMG upper a client had transferred in and also had a lower built for, transferred to him as two firearms.

Up until a few years ago that was the case:woah, wait a min... .50bmg AR upper was serialized? That's not a firearm per ATF, why a serial?
