"In today's stunning fall lineup we have titsonritz on the runway sporting an alluring SIG Equinox, certain to take Rodeo Drive by storm."

Really? so now we're selecting our firearms with "fall fashion ideas" in mind?

Um...on second thought, it IS an excuse to go buy another gun.

If the unthinkable happens to you, it will happen FAST and probably two arms-length distance. Likely either or both parties will be moving. Time to "aim" will be non-existent, you will point and let fly, train for fast center of mass. I can't stress enuff the speed of such events, train for fast and close.
Be ready to explain yourself and your actions to the investigating officers while you are shaking and adrenalised... Just sayin... God bless us all and hopefully such will never happen to any of us!

If 45 ACP is a 68 camaro, the 9mm is a Model T, since its older and all.
Naw, not really... The 9mmP is the Little Deuce coupe- or The Little Engine That Could! Had there not been so many old Cav guys on the testing Board, we could have been using the 9mmP or some species of .38 super in our 1911's...:p Not to diss JMB, that once-in-a-century designer and gunsmith god!

Speer GD and the Federal HST both 230 gr in a Springfield 3.3 xds

That being said, the biggest problem with winter carry is not the bullet but the lube in your gun. Make sure you clean all the factory lube out.

The .30 Tok round was developed for shooting thru felt overcoats, popular in the USSR at the time.
Stopping power wasn't a prime consideration, since they were shooting unarmed people. Penetrating the heavy overcoat inflicted a wound that would require treatment, so the criminal didn't get away.
We note that .30 Tok also comes in JHP.

M&P 40c with a Streamlight TLR6. Standard 10 rounds mags of 40 S&W 165 gr FTX Critical Defense.

I switch from Sig 365 9mm Federal HST +P to a Glock 23 40 S&W with 180gr Gold Dot or Winchester 165gr Ranger T in cold weather. You might look on YouTube for ballistic gel testing of various calibers/loads through the new standard of denim, fleece, cotton barrier.
